Week 3

U.S Oil Usage
The oil barrels can be shown by the barrels in crysis. These Barrels can be laid out in each country according to how much oil they use. There can also be another lot where vehicles can be stacked up in a circle according to their percentage in a pie chart.

The Life of a Web Page on Stumbleupon
There could be different rectangular prisms moving in a random manner in a certain area acting as different websites. The timeline can be linked to the time of day. The Rectangular prisms can also be split and colour coded according to the percentage of each category so you are able to clearly view each different group.

Monsters
Each main category of the type of monster can have it's own colour and will be a big ball. As more categories from within that main category (i.e. branch out) are created the big ball will produce more balls. And the cycle repeats creating a loop in the flowgraph. When 2 categories are crossed the ball which is in both will be a mix of both colours.

Week 3 Demonstation of Analytics Engine

Above is a video capture of me using the push effect. I was able to finally figure out how RayCastCamera worked and how ActionImpulse worked. After doing some research into it I was able to link them appropriately and create a loop. The next step would be to figure out how to incorporate this into my analytics engine and how I would be able to link the pachube data into this effect.

Above is a video capture of testing out my flow graph for different effects from the push effect. When i changed the link to "spawn" instead of "kill" it spawned a new officer although it would not allow me to push the officer after spawning. I tried putting this into a loop but figured it would be easier to create a different flow graph to control AI spawning which I can find on the tutors blogs.
